Signs that prove that Jesus’ return is imminent, our day!

  1. An increase in global wars and rumors of wars (Matthew 24:6)

And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

  1. An increase in natural disasters and calamities (Matthew 24:7)

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

  1. An increase in false prophets and false Christs (Matthew 24:24)

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

  1. An increase in lawlessness (Matthew 24:12)

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

  1. The preaching of the Gospel to all nations (Matthew 24:14)

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

  1. The rise of the Antichrist (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4)

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

  1. The return of the Jewish people to Israel (Ezekiel 37)

10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.

12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.

13 And ye shall know that I am the Lord when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,

14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

The restoration of Jerusalem (Zechariah 12:3)

And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

  1. An increase in spiritual blindness and apostasy (2 Thessalonians 2:3)

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

  1. The reunification of Europe (Daniel 2:41-44)

41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

Israel Will Become A Nation and this would be the last generation before the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ and that generation would not end until all the signs be fulfilled.

In the Bible, references to Israel being restored as a nation are found in several prophetic passages. The prophecies speak of a time when the Jews will be gathered from all corners of the world and reunited as a unified nation. The prophet Isaiah was one of the first to prophesy this event: “For He will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth” (Isaiah 11:12).

The book of Jeremiah also speaks of the restoration of Israel: “Behold the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch and a King shall reign and prosper and execute judgment and justice in the earth…And this is His Name whereby He shall be called: The Lord Our Righteousness” (Jeremiah 23:5-6). In addition to Isaiah and Jeremiah, the book of Ezekiel contains prophecies about the reunification of the Jewish people and their return to the Promised Land: “And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence. And I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them, and of their children after them” (Ezekiel 11:18-19). Ultimately, these prophecies were fulfilled in 1948 when the modern state of Israel was declared and became a sovereign nation.

The Bible contains several references to the belief that Christ’s second coming would coincide with the establishment of the nation of Israel. In Luke 21:24, Jesus states, “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” This is a reference to the events leading up to and including the founding of the modern-day nation of Israel in 1948. The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 11:25-26, “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.” This verse suggests that the coming of the Deliverer and the conversion of Israel to faith in Jesus will occur at the same time.

Many Prophecies often state things that must happen in Israel in the last days and so yes Israel had to first become a nation before these prophecies could be fulfilled. So yes we are the last generation that will see the return of Christ.

Though being a believer you will not be on the earth unless you are a non-believer or your Jewish in faith. That is my opinion as I understand it.
